Looking to modernize our signs and would prefer to work with people we may know.
We are looking at two lightbox signs for The Tides Inn …
One approx. 6'wide x 2'tall and one approx. 12'wide x 4'tall … Both Oval shaped.
If you have the skills or can recommend someone, please let me know.
Thanks,
Eric

I can weld you up some sick heavy frames, but you’d have to find a shop for the plexiglass, or see if Piscean can do the plexiglass work.

A little new color would look great! You need something that will withstand the fall not something that will fade away in October!  :smt005

I like his work Jim, But we are looking for a light up sign and it looks like all his work is paint on wood/aluminum.
Any Ides if Piscean or Amadeo work with Plexiglas?
Thanks for all the replies

My buddy Sean owns Monterey Signs (and Santa Cruz Signs) and is a kayaker/surfer. I can check to see if he would be interested in a gig up there... Is there any potential for trade in the form of a free room at the Tides while working on the sign?

Thanks for the mention guys, but I only have done small wooden signwork.
In addition, my studio is shut down for the summer while the new one is being built. Everything we can't store out in the weather or that requires security is stuffed into my little shed, and there isn't any space for a human to even walk into it right now.

My new building will be slightly larger, rodent free, and I expect to be turning out gaffs and fillet knives by late fall.

Absolutely, trade is always an option (and sometimes preferred).

Thanks for the reply and hope the new shop comes along nicely.
Would love to get together with you for some future work on events down the road.
