Long hard drive for a short life.

Sorry to hear man, hardest decision to make, but you know its the right one.  Sorry for your loss.

Thanks guys, it’s still hard accepting the fact he’s gone, we still have his big brother (my standard dachshund) Grizzly Bear, that helps a little. Yesterday was tough for us because Grizzy was running around whining, looking for his little brother. We still miss Gummy a lot but know he’s better off.

We got lucky ,in that due to the size of their old Lab - a mobile home vet that helps folks deal with the whole thing-makes house calls- and can help in the cremation or burial and returns the urn later.
Stil a terrible situation but the guy we found was such a kind ,caring old guy . Their family was able to call him and he came to them in really shitty time and did very hard job for them in the kindest way possible.

We have folks now who mention they are coming into tough times with older pets and we pass the mobile option-we had never heard of it before

Hope you guys hang in there - i cant even watch pets on the tv free pet deal lol...just got back from the beach with my two dogs..

I lost my Milo A year ago and I had him cremated and today I was looking at his Urn and couldn’t hold the tears back. I feel your pain.  . My condolences.

I'm sure your dog had a GOOD life, albeit cut too short no doubt.  It's tough losing a family member... as all my dogs are... but there's peace to be found knowing G.B. had a good life and lived life to the fullest.
