Thanks ! this is still my main site too. just wanted to give the humboldt folks a place they can go to see pics and post of local kayaking in general. Fishing reports and sea kayaking stories outside the area are welcome.

I just asked Hawk about that the other day and he hasn't had any takers yet.  Of course, the salmon fishing and the wind have been the shits up here, so maybe later in the season he'll get some interest in that plus some possible Cape trips.

Don't take it that way mooch, I hope I'm not giving off a splintering vibe. The forum has been an idea of mine since I was a newbie kayak guide in San Diego. I'm just implementing the dream bro, but would chuck it in a minute if caused any grief. I love the NCKA, the mendo crew, the halfmoon bay crew, Bodega bay, and of course the righteous bros in monterey/Santa cruz. I'm a one man band running my kayak shop. A forum just makes sense to help me get the word out. 

You do realize of course that you've got almost as many posts on this thread talking about your forum as you do on your entire NorNorCal forum.

I don't have a problem with it - just kidding about the splinter faction thing - I think it's a great way to get the word out....that Kayak Fishing is da bomb 

....forgive for being "combative" (Kevin, like a true friend, pulled me aside last week at the HMB Derdy and talked to me about my "combative behavior"  ) ....I'm just hating the fact that the salmon are being elusive....again
