Anyone have any gloves they like for fishing?  I have searched and read a bunch of threads here, but most only address light gloves for protecting hands, not really for warmth in the winter.

I have been looking at the sharkskin gloves, but cant find much in the way of reviews.  They seem like they might be ok.    Would be nice to find a warm pair with thumb, middle and forefinger exposed.  Also,  Would be nice if the material was one that was not too harsh on a fish's slime coat for CNR.

I have a cheap pair of white river fleece fingerless that I got at bass pro.  They work ok for warmth, but after a few dips in the surf they can get pretty cold as they are not really water proof.

I am hoping to do a few winter trips this year, and want to find something decent.  Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

I use 3mm neosport wetsuit gloves.  Nice part is they insulate well when wet and they are cheap.

“I’m going fishing.”  They said, “we will go with you.”

+1

Neoprene gloves work for me, and you can cut the fingertips to whatever length works for you.
