Silver Lake Conditions

Never in my wildest imagination would I have thought that that little lake could have produced a 22lb. mack. Wow ...

Well I went up and brought the fishing gear only to find it completely frozen over. Not sure on the thickness but didn't look safe yet. Caples looked frozen over but didn't see anyone on that lake either. Went to Tahoe for lunch then headed back down and stopped at Jenkinson Lake and caught 2 trout within 40 minutes from the shore. Just threw out kastmasters but worms would have killed them I bet.
Fun day anyway
