Maybe this one isn't real, but... I did a hydroelectric job some years ago with biologists from TVA (tennesee valley Authority).  They were excited to do a little fishing after work.  They regularly participate in fishing derbies back home, where there is a prize for most species.. they regularly come it at 10-15 or so. How?  Tiny hooks used to catch roach, shiners, minnows and perch of all sizes... its actually a pretty interesting thing to see how many species are in your local waterway.. even if some never get over a couple inches long.....

My brother lives in Nebraska. He says that on his local fishing forum, there is a guy who is trying to catch micro versions of every fish species found in the state. That guy often fishes in tiny creeks that are not much more than ditches. Small water, small fishes?
I don't like stuff that sucks.
