I hear the fish are more active when the swell is around the 20 foot mark... so anyone want to do an evening dive tomorrow? =P bahaha

You can literally surf in Still Water (SWS) right now... http://www.pebblebeach.com/golf/pebble-beach-golf-links/live-golf-cams/hole17

Yes.  Especially when its striper season.  I seem to show up right before or right after everyone is catching on every cast.

Keenero.

Lets do it.  I dont have any gear or proper wetsuits, and I am not particularly great at holding my breath.  But I can bring something heavy to help me sink.  That should cover it, right?

It’s building but not huge yet. I watched the surf during lunch today. I think it got up to 34ft in January 2017 if I recall.

While checking the buoy readings, I DID notice that the water is crazy warm right now. That portends well for the huge school of bft off big sur...hopefully they end up inside the bay again.

Yeah, it's pretty simple this time of year. Even exiting out of the water is nice because the waves push you right up onto the street. Last year in Jan the waves messed up peoples' front yards on Ocean View in PG

Child's play. I tried perch fishing yesterday at high tide. Water wasnt dirty but the wave surge was way unpredictable.
From where it looked like the high surge ended from looking at debri and kelp on the shoreline, about every 10 th wave it would surge about 15ft past that.
Got hit with a surge about 3 foot high and called it a day.
Caught some big perch during some of the storms and have also injured my knee as well.
Called it an early day.
Enjoying the fam
