Rentals in Vallejo?

My older son is going to start school in a few weeks at Touro University in Vallejo and he still has not found a place to rent. He had a couple of good leads, but those fell thru at the last minute.

I know it's a longshot, but just wondering if any NCKAer has any inside info or other advise wrt possible rentals. He'd prefer to be on Mare Island, and doesn't need much space or anything fancy. He is allergic to cats, so would prefer no pets, but other than that, not picky.

I’ll check with my brother inlaw. He lives on Mare Is, right by Touro. He may know somebody.
