Good to see someone get one!  Did you fill the yak with water on purpose just to make it a challenge, or was a defect in the thing?

blue, WTG, seriously you're amazing.  we had 9 fish for 25 anglers on our party boat 3-5 miles S of the point.  me and my buddy got skunked.  the big fish was a tie - 9 lbs.  the third biggest was 2oz shy of 9 lbs. weather was not awful but definitely borderline for yakking.

I am consistently in awe of you dude!

it would be cool to fish with you someday - if i could only keep up!

had heard that the hogs are between dux and slide ranch, staging for an early run, as you seem to prove.  if it's good conditions next week, I may do what    do what you did.  did you launch from Rocky Pt?   what's the access?

Ben, I MAY (possibly maybe) try crabbing at Muir one more time this month.   If we can coordinate with the weather and salmon fishing, would you be able to help me pull my 2 pots?   I would set the pots by myself for a 3 day soak before we go out fishing and if you help me pull the pots, you can take half the haul?

Perhaps we could troll uphill from Muir towards Slide Ranch, then back down to pull pots at the end of the 3-day soak.

If not, that's cool - hope we can hook up for some salmon fishing soon this month!

If I could go anywhere right now it'd be Muir to Rocky  It should be primo right now

I was going to launch muir but looked at it from the lookout and it would've been too much of a slog going uphill from there

if you hit a no wind day you have it made and if the wind comes up it'll just blow you back down

Pedro to HMB should be good too

good luck to any lucky bastards who can get out, I'm stuck indoors like one of those pathetic housecats
