18 1/2 lb hen although she had more bait in her gut than I had on the yak, so 1/2 lb was half-digested

Wow!  That wind is blowing hard enough to cause the wave to break and that means a bumpy ride.  You are truly the exception when it comes to saltwater kayaking.  The fact that you do this all by yourself makes me read in awe.

Nice work, Daddy-O.  So'd you get a new nanny?

Glad to see you made it out.  Give us an inch rating on her if possible so we have a target in mind.   :smt002

Dang Blue! Like we said in the sixties, "You blow my mind, Far Out Man". What you do out there is way off the top!

That kayak must have weighed a TON pulling it on shore.
With conditions like that a bilge sure would be nice but I don't know if using it would have made matters worse.
Great fish. I am still hoping for a trifecta..weekend/no wind/salmon present...so I can get a groove on with a salmon.
Chomping at the bit right now.

Damn... why am I not surprise that Blue was going to be one of first to score a nice salmon around here.

WTG.....Pablo.  Your tolerance for pain and rough ocean conditions is obviously higher that most.  How the hell do you get use to it?
