Remember you are more likely to get struck by lighting then get bit by a shark in CALIFORNIA.

I personally know about 8 people who've been attacked by a white shark while kayaking or surfing...and I'm aware of at least another 10 people who've been attacked (but don't know them personally; only as casual aquaintences thru the site or FB).
I only know 1 person who has been hit by lightning.

I also doubt a person would ever see 2 full grown white sharks jumping out of the water at the same time. Juveniles, maybe. Especially if it was in monterey bay or socal. But I'm skeptical of everything. And admit the ocean is wild an unpredictable...so I suppose it's possible; just very rare.

Just to be clear. 2 GWS came out of the water they did not "jump" the swell literally lifted them up about 8' of there back including the fin came out of the water. In other words they breached, correct? This all happens after I got "bumped" by something?

By my guestimation that would make them 15' or so? I fully understand fisherman tell "stories"!  I personally don't think it's funny to lie about a shark encounter on a kayak. And I do get a little bit offended when people question what I'm telling them. (Which is ridiculous, i know and something I need to get over).

I posted this on here because I care and I want people to be aware of what is out there so hopefully no one gets hurt.... I would not "fabricate" any stories, I do not want "that" reputation, lol. Just me telling my storie about what happens people are not going to believe me, I just think it's more important to tell it anyway!!

Greenhorn, it's very good that you are sharing your stories.  I, for one, appreciate that.  Don't be offended by folks comments, it's part of being on the internet.  Keep it coming.
