If this has already been posted...sorry. Been real busy lately and haven't kept up on reading all the posts.
The guy who was attacked said it happened about 10 minutes before the guy in the hotel started to video the ordeal.
That's a long time to be in panic mode.
Glad he made it out safe.
Amazing how the shark kept attacking the kayak.

It has been posted before., no worries.

Some folks have said that it looked  like the shark was tangled up in something attached to the yak, so it was dragged around awhile.

That was way too long for him to be sitting in the water. And the IDIOT recording, his first thought was to get his CAMERA?!?!?!!!!  half way into recording he THEN tells his wife to call someone. WOW!!!...  AND THEN that sail boat comes rushing in at 1mph to save the day and just WATCHES the guy whose been shitting himself in the freezing water for 20min, trying to climb in the boat but can't because he's probably frozen and tired from being in the water so long... Doesn't even try to help the guy into the boat until he's almost already in...

That was my first thought when watching  the video that it must have been tangled.
Don't know  how long the person was in the water but staying pretty  calm for the circumstances.
Glad the boat made that rescue.
Scetchy...

Might serve as a shark deterrent...

Seeing the shark toy around with his kayak. did he do the right thing by swimming away? you know the saying, a dangerous shark is the one you don't see. the shark disappear and he was still in the water. any moment it could drag him under. would it be best to get back on kayak?
