Malibu II Kayak - Yellow - $150

Need to clear out my garage.  I have a Malibu II kayak that I'm willing to part with on the cheap.   I used this kayak for about 5 years exclusively and it's seen many miles and many big fish.  It has seen lots of use but remains seaworthy.  It's an extremely stable boat... great for a newbie.

This would be a great boat to pick up if you are needing a boat on the cheap or for a newbie who doesn't want to invest in a high end model quite yet.

I've always paddled the boat solo (center seat position), and I removed a couple straps that would be used to attach a forward seat.  I think you'd need to add some straps back or some pad eyes if you wanted to paddle it as a tandem again.

It comes with the following accessories already mounted:

- Ram Tube rod holder
- Rubber paddle clips
- Two pvc "flush mount" redneck rodholders (hey... they work)
- Two rubber gaspatchi hatches
- High Back Seat
- one scotty mount (use for a rodholder or fishfinder mount)
- one homemade through hull wire seal near scotty mount (for FF wire).
- Gear restraint below deck to prevent stuff from sliding out of reach inside the hull.
- I'll throw in a waterproof lock-n-lock battery box equipped with a wire seal as well (minus the battery).

This thread shows how it is currently rigged... note that it does not come with the fishfinder... but all of the brackets are still mounted to it.

Also, I have a really cool adjustable width PVC cart that I'd sell along with it for an additional $60...

PM or Email me if interested.

Yes... Mike should be picking it up tonight.

Old Bessy will be retiring to a nice weekend retreat on the Russian River where she'll be able to play out the rest of her days "going with the flow" instead of against it.

Here she is in her hayday, she hauled many a sturgeon in her time.

Can't pick it up tonight, I'll be by on Thursday instead. The boat will get a lot of use up the river I will keep it on the beach and anytime you want to use it Erik its yours in the Summer they put up a Dam and we have a small lake it a great place for a nice peaceful paddle. The fishing is a great place to break the kids in.
