I have Humminbird Helix 5 Si on my 2016 outback and like it quite a lot, bright screen and the side scan is quite detailed.

I have a hook 4 because my elite
4 got wet. It got splashed a little bit and was instantly destroyed. It was one month past the end of my warranty so they offered to give me a new hook for as a replacement for "half off" at $150. I thought this was pretty bad as far as customer service goes.

If I could go back and re wire my kayak for a different brand, I would. The lowrance fish finders aren't water proof and I've read about other people having this issue too. That being said, when it does work it works fine.
