Did you get Sea Angler 36x20 direct from them or did you find it elsewhere for a lower price?

I don't remember exactly where I got my bag - it's been a few years. I'm sure I just searched around for a few minutes and picked the lowest price. I think I paid around $80-90, but I could be mistaken.

Regarding the IceMule, they also make a specific pro catch cooler in 3 different sizes that should fit in most kayak hulls or strapped to the bow. Seems reasonably priced and heard many good things..

I think I found a winner while I was browsing around

http://www.hobiecat.com/accessories/fish-bags-coolers/

I didn't know hobie made fish bags. Well the medium one fit inside the outback or you can strap it on the front. It double as a cooler.

I might have to get one. Priced isn't too bag. 129 bucks. It is 26 quarts as well.

Just another option.

The amayesing brothers stored two halibut in my ice mule including the 28 lb 43" one atop aoty. Two big California butts, 20 lb ice, and room to spare.

That was extremely handy that day, thanks again.  It was a warm, sunny day, and that ice mule kept our fish well-chilled for hours.

Thanks for the brand name too, as I need to look into one since I'll be doing a lot more ocean fishing this year  :smt003.

Sure thing.  I got it at Next Adventure incase you are heading to the PNWSS or otherwise happen to head to PDX.  Check out the paddle center sometime.  Good people there.

with Chet calling me out on going big this year...I figure I get the icemule 42 inch large pro catch. Wasn't sure the difference between the Pro Coolers and the Pro Catch coolers beside the pro cooler has a backpack strap.

I went with the pro catch since its meant for storing fish. Its quite pricey at 160.

Could have tested it out last sunday when I caught that Sturgeon lol

Question for you guys who've used a soft fish bag coolers.

How easy is it to clean the blood, stains and guts after a trip (both outside and inside)?

The best thing about the Sea Angler is that its fold out completely flat so you can clean it with ease. That's one thing I like about it.

Not sure about the icemule. Probably soap and vinegar and let it soak and then rinse.

Ice mule liner turns inside out. Mine has a couple stains on the inside but it doesn't smell.
