Old launch ramps at Moss are for kayakers?

SO…I have read numerous reports indicating that the "old" launch ramps at Moss Landing will be kept in use for kayakers. The new launch ramps will be far superior to the old ramps for boaters to do their business. However, a kayak-designated launch ramp in Moss Landing would be awesome.
Does anybody know if this is true?

I would assume that they will still allow boaters to use the old ramps if they want to…which is OK too. But hopefully it will be deterred, or unnecessary given the condition of the new ramps. Although, I'm pretty sure the old ramps will see plenty use the opening wknd.

I just think it would be really cool to be able to back my truck up and unload everything right there at the launch without fear of being run over by a trailered boat. Or have to unload everything 300 yards away and wheel everything to the launch. Or have to unload the yak, then park the car and carry everything back and forth.

I'm getting pumped for the opener! Its next wknd! And I live about 15 minutes from the launch! DANCING BANANA ICON HERE!
