Trap rig

I use a double hook sliding set up with a #4 hook and treble on the bottom. I have had no problems with bait making a U shape. I do cinch my snelling tightly with about 10/15 pound test against 30/40 lb mono. I rarely use this rig. It is more so when I am targeting lings or larger fish like seabass, not so much for rockfish

 I have caught most fish with treble ( hook at tail )but believe I have missed larger ling with small rockfish as bait where the ling takes the bait by the head. Still trying to refine set up for that
