Going to Coyote Lake on Sunday the 18th. First time fishing there with my kayak so I'm pretty stoked. One of my friends finally got a kayak too, so it will be fun to show him how to do self-rescues, etc.
I know there was a group going on Friday (today) so hopefully they catch tons of fish (but leave a few for me) and report back.

I've got a few friends that have been fishing the lake hard for the past two weeks and it has been really good bassin. Perfect weather and the lake has gone into spring mode early. The weatherman is forecasting 80 degrees on Sunday!

I will target both trout and bass. Probably trout in the morning, then bass in the afternoon. But I doubt that I'll be there very early considering it is St Paddy's day on Saturday AND I enjoy sleeping in.

Anybody else interested in Coyote on Sunday? Hopefully I'll see a few of you there.

I was on Coyote last sunday just exploring, not fishing but saw about 6 floatubes picking up quite a few bass.

What time are you planning to get out there?  I have to pick up my boat from my dad's house on New Ave but can get out there pretty much any time. I don't do much bass fishing but need to get on the water chasing something.

I would like to get there around 9am. But...I am notorious for being a total lagger. So I think 10am is a reasonable estimate.
Will be driving gold Chevy Z71 and paddling a blue OK Drifter. My friends will be paddling a red OK Aegean tandem. There will also be one float tuber with us.

Bring sunscreen.

I'll look for you out there.  I'll be in a orange prowler 13.
I found it pretty easy to paddle the length of the lake so will probably park by the boat launch toward the entrance end(it's closed) and use the dock to get in.  That clay mud down there is a bear to clean off everything.  It took two hours to clean up last weekend
