Mooching is a slow troll with a bannana weight connecting your leader and mainline together, you can cut the bait in different ways to produce more action on the bait itself but a true mooch is simple and easy.. Good luck guys sounds like a blast!

Double deep six diver, 5-6 foot leader, and either a watermelon Apex (WMA) or a spinning/rolling anchovy. Later in the season most people don't use flashers.

I have to agree, the forecast turned for the worse overnight.  I think Sunday is a better day as well.  Decision later today, I will update the main post.

My plans to launch from Noyo Harbor are basically shot, too. Supposed to be windy up there, so I'll probably just do some shore rockfishing.

This is still a Go.  Going to check out the weather in the morning and eyeball the condition at the beach, so cancellation is still possible.  Channel 69.

Have you checked the forecast? There is a small crafts advisory for Bolinas Friday.

Thank you all for your comments, tips, concerns.   All is good, weather is definitely either wrong or meant to be offshore.  See the updated report on the original posting.
