The sun was blazing and now my neck is on fire. I think I'll be a redneck for about a week. I only had one hook-up, but is was a nice one! All in all it was a great day to be on the water.

LETS SET THE RECORD STRAIGHT.

1st its draggin HAWG (okay)  the W.T.  (Whiskey Tango) thrive on spelling HOG this way....

2nd Sean is right, the bigger metal sparkly flake, the better basser you are.

3rd. Please contact Malibu and arrange a sparkly yak. and get a trade mark on it.

4th Contact Skoal and see if they will sponsor a bass/yak tourney and have it on OLN with BASSCAR

5th Sean you now need to get a "Get-R-Done" sticker on your dogde power wagon

6th I'm done messing around...here are some pics....

Nice!! What a day. Did you target any crappie? The marina there is a great spot, sometimes non-stop action.

My next door neighbor was in the clearlake tournament with one of those shiny bass boats. He couldn't wait to get home and tell me about the kayakers catching big fish. Way to show 'em Sean and crew.

whoa, way to rub it in their faces, now, next time i'm on the delta one of them guys is gonna run me over.  :smt012 "ding dang gum kayaker, stillin owl my cugugu basses" :smt003

The small/largemouth bass is an amazing species of fish.  I grew up fishing for them in the rock quarry ponds along the merced river.  Never forget the first time i hooked into a striped bass.  My grandfather screamed, "dont throw it back, were gonna eat that 'un!"  We used plastic worms, salamanders, frogs and then all kinds of different crankbaits.  My lure of choice for bass is any kind of small trout looking lure or small spooned minnow.   You guys rocked it.  jtf..

What a great report!  I think the term "Draggin Hawg" should be a new bumper sticker and I would love to quote you in WON.

I do not cover Clear Lake, but would love to send some of these pics to the paper if it is alright with you guys and/or let Robin Wade, the writer who covers this area, to take a look at your report.

Great Catchin'!
