Looks like you guys had a nice day on the water... you get an A for effort and good sight-seeing.

Mike... sounds like you might have at least had a chance at one... wish you could have hooked up.

Hopefully I'll get out next weekend or the following one.

Funny thing.... I saw a few red baloons floating by too.

Quote
I saw those balloons  at China camp. I thought they were buoy markers until they kept getting further and further away.

Now I feel Better you guys saw them and couldn't catch em.

Some V-day baloons went up the petaluma where I intercepted them, I thought they were lost floats at first. They got around, wonder if they came from SF?

Ben when I C&R leave em alone  :smt044 Just curious why would you say SF?

Group IQ is inversely proportional to the size of the group.

A Steelhead always knows where he is going, but a Man seldom does.

Is there a spot for "balloons" on the sturgeon card?  Do you have to list each balloon separately, or can you just say "bouquet"?  How do you specify length... were they legal keepers?  I'm sure Mike made the right decision with his conservation-minded catch-and-release strategy... we DO have to consider future generations, you know.  The funny thing is, I didn't even know we were in a migratory spawning path.  I wonder how long it'll take DFG to jump all over this.
