This is a great kayak, especially for the ocean or bay. But I'm upgrading so I need to sell this one.

One of the cool thing about the Ultra 4.7 is its reversible center console hatch. So you can protect the fishfinder when launching through surf. I added a 5" screw hatch inside the center hatch, so you can access the internal hull...and safely store rods when conditions are rough.

The tankwell is pretty cool. It is really big and has a seperate enclosed area behind the seat--that's meant for a rectangular Plano box. It works fine for that but I turned it into a bait tank/livewell.
I figured out that a Shoreline thru-hull livewell pump fit perfectly into the circular slot on the side of the enclosed tankwell. So I installed an Attwood 3-prong trolling motor plug & receptacle on the side and wired it to a Rule livewell timer switch inside the center hatch. You can either run the intake through the scupper or plug the scupper and simly recirculate the water. It takes a lot of juice so I have an 18 amp SLA that can power the livewell pump & fishfinder. I tried to set it up so you could add a trolling motor. The 3-prong plug receptacle can also accept a boat pole light. For safety...

It paddles really well. And it can carry a load. I've paddle around the ocean with 3 kids on it. Sad to see it go because she helped create a lot of great memories. But I know she'll make somebody really happy.
Send me a message if interested. Pick up in Marina or somewhere nearby (maybe meet at the beach and go fishing?). It's in really good condition because I got it new and it was my backup/spare kayak.

Forgot the pics! I gotta get some newer pics...these will have to do for now.

Installing the hatch in a hatch. And livewell switch.

Shoreline livewell pump snaps in perfectly

Trolling motor plug

Livewell pump with bulb primer, spray head, and frame. I also build a top that keeps fish from jumping out but don't have pics.

Test video. I've sealed it up and used it a few times but don't have decent pics.

Pretty sweet setup Pat! I'm not in the market or I'd be PM'ing you. Fantastic kayak and all the fixings!

Price drop to $1000 for NCKA family & friends :-)
I took it out yesterday because I sold my Hobie last week, and wanted to show the new owner (Jeff, new NCKAer now too haha) how to use the Hobie.
Same deal for whoever buys this Ultra...and most of the other yaks I've sold thru the years. I'll take you fishing and make sure you understand safety protocols and how to best use the kayak.
