SOLD 7/5

$1200  2010 Hobie Revolution 13

I’ve had this kayak for about 5 years. I believe I’m the 3rd owner (after EWB and someone else). Lots of great memories on this yak. It’s not the prettiest Hobie because I removed some of the mounts/bases that previous owners installed, and plastic-welded the old screw holes shut. It also has lots of scratches on the bottom despite being babied most of the time [normal wear & tear]. There's a bunch of fish slime and blood on it right now, but I'll wash it off...she's a certified fish killer with tons of extra mojo!

People complain about the weight of Hobies, in general. But these Revo 13 model-years are surprisingly light and easy to manhandle. Without the Mirage drive, it’s normally under 60lbs…but I’ve added some hardware, pool noodles, and transducer bath so it weighs about 64-65lbs on my scale. Not bad in my opinion.

Send me a message if interested. Pickup in Marina or nearby (maybe meet at the beach and go fishing?).

I really like the 2010 models. I think that i have same one. I know it doesn't have the bell and whistle of the new models but it is really light, versatile and can cut through the surf launches. It's a good deal for those wanting to make the jump.

I posted this on CL @ $1300. But I'll knock off a few more bucks for NCKA...save me from these craigslist weirdos!

I don't know much about the dark side, can anyone tell me how comfortable a full size adult male (6'2" 250lbs) would be in this boat? Shoulder is asking me to look into it

Eric I've borrowed chucke'so before on several occasions and I feel very comfortable on it. Very stable. Even in rough waters and heavy gear. 6'4" 275lbs.

I'd say you're towards the upper end of the spectrum. 6'2 to 6'4 height is fine, but 250-275lbs weight is gonna make it ride a little lower than ideal...in my opinion.

Personally, I think this model is the best revo 13 hobie made. Better than the 2015+ models.
