Hey SharkLure, I'll help you carry down and up if you help me.  I also work at Davenport Landing and can give you some tips about that spot too. 
Regarding BigJim's diving dreams, there's a lot more interesting structure on the North side of the point.  Though probably a lot of old fishing line and hooks that have snagged near the cliffs over the years I can honestly admit that some of it came from me. 
I'll be fishing there next month and I would love to meet some new friends.
