It was emailed to me a while back, unfortunately its 1 time used only. Also in order for price match to work they need to see the 30% additional on REI which is not showing anymore.

uh oh.

this may be the Werner deal I've been waiting for.  Looks like they've also got the 230 in stock, which is my preferred size....

Damn you.

Paddle arrived today.  Man, it's nice. So much better made than the POS carlisles I've been using/ storing water inside.

However, REI sent a bent shaft instead of the straight one pictured.  Have never used bent before.  Any one here care to give the plusses/ minuses in their experience?

Figure I'll take this out a few times to see if it fits the bill and return if it doesn't.

Got mine today... straight shaft 240cm

Cool!

Itching to take this thing for a spin.  I think the bent is going to work.  Looks like it keeps the wrists a little straighter to the forearm.  Also looks like this was a savings increase; the bent lists for $75 more than the straight. Damned thing is probably worth more than my kayak. Everything's coming up Milhouse....

I ordered both the Carlisle Predator and the Werner Camano in 250.  I figured I would try them both out and see which I liked.

I already know which I just getting them out of the box...
Fish laugh when I paddle by.  Sometimes they laugh so hard they fall on my hook.
