What Do I need Legally to Fish In The Ocean?

Nah, gotta be careful to not pack too much stuff. Makes you top heavy, easier to flip, and pisses your buddies off when you are on the beach, rigging your cargo ship, and they are waiting for you to launch so that the group can go out and fish. No whistle needed, you have testicles, squeeze one, really hard. It helps get you back into your kayak after you flip, AND, you emit a sound that is unmistakable to every mamal on the planet.

I paddle w waterproof bluetooth speaker stead of headphones.  LOL if LEO argues that's not a "sound signal"

Thanks Crash et al.  I think a whistle is a great idea and ought to be required. The "audible for 1/2 mile" seems to apply to vessels 12 m or more.  Still... the USCG auxiliary is always giving whistles away at boat shows. Its a really good and compact safety device....
