Thanks for the info SeaGoat. One last question, does that pump require manual priming?

ernest

Nope, it's self priming. I pot it in the hatch with a 5 gal bucket that has a screw top lid. Easy and ready.

So, after a few uses I have come to the conclusion that this thing is awesome! 5 Gal is plenty, you can spray every damn thing. Attached is the original video that I was having issues with.  Sprayer on Amazon is $40 new bucket is $5 ( I need a new camera man also)

I have a couple 7 gal water cans I can bring out and that looks like a good option to spray off gear.  That may peel skin if I tried it after a dive so may end up with the solar shower also.  Thanks for the video.

Is the hose and nozzle interchangeable with regular garden hose and sprayer?

Nope. I ordered one and used it at Simply. They have male/female quick-connects built in. Not the sturdiest pieces, but I'm hoping that if I'm careful, it will last more than a season.  Works well enough and very very convenient

ordered rinse kit for a 4 day camping trip a last month. at the end of 2nd day (used sparingly the 1st day), the pressure was weak.  i couldn't refill it because campsite didn't have threaded spigots. i returned it when i got back. if it ever goes on sale for $50, i'll reconsider it for daily trips.
