Seals bro.lol. I didnt even know tbis thread was still active. The more reports I see and friends that fish dillon point im noticing pretty much all the fish there are small. Coincidence? Im thinkin not. Anybody ever caught big ones there? Seems like all the young jacks hug that shoreline so where ate the hogs at? There is plenty of real estate and deep water there for this to be true. We saw 2 jump on the opposite bank by the railroad tracks while we were striper trollin. Hmmmmmmm...

Watch out for flying spinners....

+10, not a good idea to get close to the bank at all, from experience !
Remember to practice safe knots, because big fish don't just break your line, they also break your heart.

Launched from 9th Street today and fished from the ramp to the buoy from 430 to 700. Not a nibble. Any other reports for that area. Some guys on boats caught one or two. Not exactly sure

My Dad limited from the bank at First St. earlier this week.  He landed a 7-8lb and a 18lb+/- don't think he weight them. He did say they were both bucks.  He also confirmed that the seals/sea lions are taking a bunch of fish from the fisherman at Dillons Point.  From what I have noticed in the past most of the fish are caught near the shore and the boaters/kayakers are not as effective as shore fisherman.
