Has anybody launched from Steele canyon resort I was think about fishing it this weekend but I have been there before.

Use to launch there all the time when it cost a couple bucks. Now it is just over priced. I go to the free launch across from Steele.

It's an OK spot in terms of access to different areas on the lake. And you can probably avoid ski traffic by ducking into one of the nearby coves south of Steele Park. But if you venture north into the main body of lake, there will definitely be waterskiers by midday.

They have Capel Cove ramp closed do to low water. The lake was a host town yesterday. I only seen 4 boats. Water looked real nice, dam I need to carry a rod in my bobtail

Capel is open to kayaks and canoes only.  You have to roll your boat down to the water but it's free.  I was there last week and caught 3 bass to 14 inches.
