I'm looking at taking the family on a trip next week to the coast.

I'd like to go somewhere between Fort Bragg and Monterey.

I need to find a place with things to do for 2 girls (5 and 7 years old) and will accommodate a 29' Toy Hauler.  Not sure if I'll bring the kayak yet.

Anybody have a good recommendation for an RV park??

Thanks!

a couple months back I visited Doran beach, seemed to be a popular RV campground. Nice strand beach right outside of Bodega Bay, with tidal flats on the inside.

here's a link to a few other sites in the area:

Last wknd I stayed at Cotillion Gardens in the Santa Cruz mtns and it was pretty cool. It was the second time we've been there. It's a clean RV park on the San Lorenzo River about 5 minute walk to Henry Cowell Redwoods or the Roaring Camp Railroad. In the RV park, they have a heated pool & spa along with a game room full of arcades, pool table, pingpong, etc. My 3 & 7 year olds love it there...same goes for the other 5-7 kids we normally have with us! Oh, and the Beach Boardwalk is about 15 minutes down the road too.

a few years back Moss landing rv would not let kids run on the grass, ride their bikes round n round the small park, not real kid friendly and not much for them to do...it is a very well kept adult park in my view

Caspar beach rv park just South of Fort Bragg.
Another awesome one especially for kids is Gualala River Redwood Park.

Not responsive to the OP, but-

The best RV camping I've done on the entire west coast is beverly beach between newport and depoe bay in oregon.  Awesome with the kids and great fishing.  Oregon aquarium and a large brewery are nearby.  You really can't beat it.
