May be a dumb question, but will the shop be open still to purchase gear?  Few things I might be looking to pick up while i'm there 

I can open up the shop for anyone interested immediately before and after the presentation.  Come buy a kayak!

Yeah, they had a deal for $599 for that night only.  Presentation was great, especially with the free food and drink!  Didn't really know how they work, and got a good overview of the basics.  Didn't realize that the Government uses them, special forces and the like, as well as they have a huge following in Australia for surfers and divers.  And they have done lots of testing, and independent testing of the product with basically all the top aggressive sharks.

Sorry I missed it.  Made it to Moss Landing just before 9 to catch a few Muggles in the parking lot & spent a few minutes catching up with Dave in the parking lot.  Good times!

Check with Dave @ K.C.  I believe they are a dealer for them.  I didn;t get there till the bar had closed & everyone was on their way out the door.  Heard it was a good presentation though.

Bro , there are no sharks in shadow cliffs. Just the ones in the kayaks. 

Seriously though. Shark shield is definitely something I am considering as well. Sometimes I fish solo and adding another layer of protection isn't a bad thing.
