We are what we pretend to be, so we must be careful about what we pretend to be.

I want to stay as close to the edge as I can without going over. Out on the edge you see all kinds of things you can't see from the center.

People aren’t supposed to look back. I’m certainly not going to do it anymore.”

We got plenty of rain and wind.  Another night with no power. Trees down everywhere.

Another 1.5" of rain here at our place.  72 hour total: 5.5"

Just need 5 or 6 more like that before the Memorial Day weekend.  (End of the rain season here in the hills)

It POURED right around 11am yesterday. Like Triangle, I hadn't heard it rain like that in a while. My sister called me and the rain was so loud on the shed roof the first thing she asked was "are you OK in there?"
Lots of branches and small debris down, but nothing major. Our power stayed on so i could still watch Trailer Park boys and Game On! :smt044
I got some solid hours in a couple of projects that will likely show up here in the coming weeks.
