Rain Up to 10" in Places This Weekend

Since it's so windy, would it be wrong to go "break down" some of the random trees I have that my wife wants to keep then just blame it on the wind?

The rain showed up in force now in Gville. Wowsers.

Not a tone of rain, but was a bit of wind. Surprised everything is still working at home    People on the SJ drive very slow in the rain... but on Highway 9 the locals still drive like it was a bright summer day.     It was windy, rainy, fogy, hailing, gusting... Doesn't slow 'em down one bit 

Redding area, heavy rain, sustained wind 35 - 45 with gusts up to 60 mph, to the east in the mountains gusts up to 80 mph, there are so many trees along the river with roots washed out and leaning from December flood will be interesting to see how many of them are gone after this weekend.

strong waves of rain on and off since last night, morning with light showers and patchy sunshine...Carmel valley..suns out now..too wet to ride the supercycle and yak season is closed..ribs and movie day..

I fished in the hardcore rain today!

I am getting a lot of painting done.  Finish caulking the board joints in the mancave next, then cook up some elk steaks. Rain is good.

 Went and watched new Spongebob movie with my daughter ,  planted lettuce and greens... About to go grab a pizza pie and a cold beer..

Still not going to be that big.  A lot of hype for little payoff.  Just saying

night showers in early a.m then one god steady 20 minute a.m shower here in carmel...now blue skies poking though and clouds off shore...just enough to keep the motorcycle put away 

but man is it good to see rain 

Past 24 hours rainfall here was 1.5" for a two day total of 4" of rain in the can. 

Just saw on news Shasta Lake is up 10 feet last two days, now 47% full, much better then the 20% it was at in mid-December, possibly more rain next week
