I will be working and staying in Danville this week.  Anyone know of any good places to eat around there?

Pete's Brass Rail & Car WASH and Elliott’s Bar. I grew up there Elliott's is the real deal Pete's is pretty cool.

Los Panchos (Mexican)
Little Pear (American)
China Paridise (Chinese)
Hana Sushi (Japanese)
Ascona (pizza)

But seriously, they are good not great and expensive. There are some BBQ places and other Texas type places in San Ramon and Dublin. Use Yelp for ideas. Best meal in the Tri valley is at my house but I'm working long hours this week.

I've lived here for over 25 years.
Mid priced meals as earlier mentioned are hit and miss when it comes to value.
The higher priced ones are nice if you can swing it.
On the cheap there are 2 burger joints I refuse to eat at (BK=bad politics for so so food at best. Fosters always has flies everywhere.
Togos and subway are not bad.
There is a new sandwich shop at the clock tower that looks ok and one by srv highs school.
For the most part it's a one road town.
Nice old diner in Alamo that you might like kinda near the hay and grain store off stone valley road.
You building houses or doing tech?

Brass bear is the bomb and slow g's eatery on Diablo in the shopping. Center by the freeway is pretty good too for lunch.

We like Esin but the prices are pretty steep and the portions are small.  The Peasant and the Pear is good too.   For Burgers and beers, Pete ' s Brass Rail and Car Wash is my favorite.  There is no car wash or brass rail and who the hell is Pete?  Don't waste your time or money at the Growler.
