Weather - actual v. reported

Dont know if anyone got a chance to walk out to a Monterey Bay beach today.  Was wondering how close last nights forecast was for today bc it was absolutely gorgeous and FAC around lunchtime.

Swell was heavy yesterday & last night. Looked calmer this morning though.

just got in from hmb. Really bumpy and rough today couldn't get out of the harbor. swell was low, but was like a washing machine out there.

I drove hwy 1 home from work today in Fort Bragg down to Jenner and it looked like poo.

I went out on a boat today. It was really hectic right out of the harbor but calmed down a bit as we headed south.
