BREAKING NEWS: AOTY and DOTY Prize KayakS

Just got confirmation that we will have a brand new Ocean Kayak Trident 13 as the grandprize for this year's AOTY Champ!!!

Let's not forget that we ALSO have a Hobie Revo 13 as the "participation raffle" prize for this years AOTY/DOTY. 

Each participant in AOTY/DOTY will automactially receive one entry into the raffle once they pay the $40 entry fee. Participants can receive up to 20 additional raffle entries for each species submitted and approved in both AOTY and DOTY. 21 entries into the raffle will be the max that any player can have.

The goal of the raffle is to encourage participation and friendly competition amongst those anglers and divers that may not be able to invest the amount of time needed to finish in the top three.

Click Pay Now at bottom of page and pay your $40 entrance fee. This will give you one ticket into the raffle.

Then go to the upper right corner of the same page and click "sign up" and enter the username and password you want to use.

If you catch any fish on hook and line and want to enter them on AOTY you need to "sign up" on the AOTY page, but you don't gotta pay again. Just one $40 entrance fee to play both.

Once you have some fishies shot and pics taken (the rules on the DOTY page explain what is required for pics), you will login to DOTY and there will be a tab for MY FISH and that is where you can enter them.

You will get one additional raffle ticket for each different species entered and approved.

Okay, so I signed up for both and paid my fee.  My user name is "Member DG" since you have to use at least three letters when you sign up.  Maybe that can be changed for users who only use two letters. 

I went diving with someone last week and he shot a 26" Cabazon at 14 lbs, but did not sign up for DOTY.  I think it would have been a good fish to post.  Most of the season is gone, but I can still start posting fish and have this all perfected by next year. 

AMAZING!! Not sure if it's going to happen this year, but I'm still gunning for that top spot!
