Newbies from Millerton Lake/ Rocklin

Hello everyone. Ric and Kris. We are newbie to kayak fishing world. Haven't even bought a yak yet. We are learning everything we can. We live at Millerton Lake, right above Findgold day use park which has a kayak/canoe only ramp. We call Rocklin home but live on the lake.  Glad to be on board with this amazing group of ppl. You will know its us when we pull up with our 47 kit teardrop trailer and a couple of yaks. See u on the water

How's the lake right now? It's one of the only places that still has campsites available for Labor Day wknd. Because my family likes camping there but it looks like the lake is at 50% capacity. What do you think?
