Trying to remove a topic/thread I started. I noticed that at the bottom of the 1st page the option to remove is gone. Any reason for that? Trying to clean up the SF boat show thread and keep the site more trim.

if you start a thread and remove your post, does it delete the entire thread?  talking about the option within the post "Quote  Modify  Remove"

Yeah, I removed that option.  Why?  Because when you remove your post, you remove other people's responses to it, which in itself is a form of moderation, and hardly seemed right.  At least that is the thinking behind it ...

I have found that locking the thread (if you authored it) It will go away and if you change the title to "MOD PLEASE CONSIDER REMOVING" It goes away fairy Quickly... (Even if you made an ass of yourself in the thread :smt044 :smt044 :smt044 )
my new name should be Ostridge. Got my head in the sand. Going fishing and letting go of the other stuff I can't control anyway!
