Well that was some of the best action Ive experienced at rollins, though everyone got some fish away from the hot spot as well as in it, all the fish I got were in the same cove within 2 hours of launching and all on the same jig. For me the ticket was a 1/32 oz head with 1" gulp fish fry in luma glow( it's just white but luma glow sounds fancy haha)

Hammering a tree in the back of the cove that is usually bait central produced around 15 crappie from 8-11" and a small trout. Bite around the bush slowed so we started fishing the steep banks of the cove. This is where the bigger fish were, hanging next to submerged stumps near the bank. Fishing the ledges produced 5 or so more crappie for me to 14.5". One 15 inch spot, and a nice kitty just over 6 pounds.

Great day on the water with beautiful warm weather and awesome company, can't wait to do it again. Pics on the way. Except for the cat, everyone else has pics and vid of that.

Noticed on that biggest crappie, a lot of the membrane on the back end of the dorsal and anal fin is gone. Anybody know what's up with that?
