Looks like it might just be a crappie hunt at the greenhorn entrance! 18 inch elusive monster crappie!!!! We might just find NESSIE this time!!! Lights on the dock shine into deep water, bugs fall in the water = CRAPPIE Bring some warm cloths and chicken liver? BIG cats in this area too... I'll stay late for those!

Another Night trip at Rollins?!?! Hell ya, I'll be there, possibly a bit earlier or later than 530 to avoid traffic comin from sac.

Have any idea on the temp there now or recently?

I've always wanted to fish this lake. I need to go up to Hills Flat Lumber in Colfax first and get my new Revo. New boat, new water... I'm down!

Water was at 54 on other side of lake. Green horn is the warmer side... 60? afternoon temp. Gonna be bass in the grass and crappie on the hook!?!?!?! We're gonna find out tonight....

 Strait up I80 to colfax/174 exit (wingshooter take Canyon way exit (one before) to get to hills flat for your boat) We will take 174 down the canyon and across towards grass vally to Green horn road. Go right till end and have $5-$10 for the Iron ranger. Bring warm cloths and Chicken liver/Cat bait if you plan to hang a little after the sun drops. Night crawlers, yes... Minnows not allowed... Come show me how it's done and catch my 18" crappie!!!!!

I would love to go, but two nights in a row of taxes to 4am has got me a wee bit burned out. If I  only had fewer than 6 businesses to do taxes for. That's after a bonsai run to Almanor Sat leaving at 3am and returning 12am.   

We will leave a few for you... I'll be doing a lot of these trips this year. Gonna work Rollins over and find tht crappie and the one that got away from you last time too Expect every other Thursday night ('cause Carrie gets home late that night) Days are getting longer...

Since it looks like I will be the last one to get to my hook up I'll see y'all there.  Anyone planning to meet at my shop? If not I will leave as soon as I can...
