Yeah, those car salesmen are slithery fuckers. But again, if the car is clean, I'm fine with it. I also looked on craigslist, but there are sketchy people there, too.

I went to a Ford Dealership this week in San Mateo to look at a used Toyota Pickup.  Slimy doesn't even begin to describe THEIR level of WTF.  They used a permanent marker to "fill in" the paint chips on the hood.  Not just 1 spot .... LOTS of spots.  It was either a marker or the thinnest transluscent blue paint I've ever seen.  They had a Yelp review from another person who bought a used car & shop polish had been used to hide some major scratches down the side of the car.

Yeah, my car has a chip on the back. I'll buy a touch up kit online. I don't ever want to go back to those guys. I hate car dealerships.
Any word of WSB yet?!?

They try so hard no to be slimy, that they ARE slimy.  I like to go to the dealerships after they close to look at cars.

I worked for a dealership for a year and was the opposite of what I knew salesman to be and it paid off. When custmers would ask to look around, I would let them. I would tell them to come to the Desk and ask for me. It would catch them off guard but it worked. The month I left, I was salesman of the month. It is a hard job thougth and I only did it while prepping the take my nursing license  test.

Congratulations! it's a great car.

as I mentioned before subaruoutback.org is a great source for  information and question regarding OB.  I installed rearview camera, using remondation from this site. Also if you feel that ride is too soft  (rear) you can always install STI RSB. if you would like to try it first let me know and you can drive my car. - I'm in South SF

Subaru NA customer service is one of the best expirience that I had for many years.

I installed Yakima saddles and rollers, I recommend to cover rear of the car when you'll load and upload kayak.

I have same model for last 14 month and 20K miles - only positive expirience.
