Anyone have any photos of Malibu II set-up?  I know that I am calling back from the old boats, but curious if anyone else still rides one of these.

I have an old Malibu 2 tandem and it's completely bare-bones. No rod holders or anything. But when I use it, I strap-down a milk crate in the middle for storage. And there are 4 vertical pvc rodholders attached--and 2 Scotty bases, so I can store rods and also troll without putting the rod under my leg!

Do a search on user Banjotad, he's been in hiding for a while but used to have a Malibu II with everything but the kitchen sink installed on it.  You might be able to dig us some of his old posts and go through his pics for ideas.  Here's one from back in the day:

Yup, that would be it.  I think i set up like Sin Coast, nothing but a milk crate in the rear seat, I sit in the middle.

I do notice that i drift, a lot.  Anyone notice that, or am I just dreaming?

I will look up the other poster with the Malibu II, thanks for the heads up.

The crate works best for 3 seat tandems. Mount everything to the crate. http://www.norcalkayakanglers.com/index.php?topic=40895.msg445398#msg445398

Drift sock works pretty good, especially for days with lots of current
