Wow great deal!  Was this from a dealer or private party?

Private party in Sacramento. He originally bought it from Venture boats or something like that in Sacramento in 2012.

Your trailer is one serous trailer. I bet your one happy camper with the trailer you have. Dam its way awesome.

It's my understanding that if you're buying a brand new current year hull you won't get a deal on a Hobie.  The only deals are on demo hulls, non-current year models, and accessories/add ons.  The prices are the same here in Cali at dealers as they were in Florida when I moved here last summer.

I will say that I think you'll get tired of car topping very quickly with the weight of the hull.  I used to own a truck and hauled my PA14 in the bed with no complaints.  These days I'm in a SUV and after car topping on my Trailblazer just a couple times I found myself in the market for a trailer.  I picked up a jetski trailer that has been modified by the original owner to carry his ski and camping gear to the lake.  I couldn't be happier now as hauling, loading, and unloading is a breeze!!

I do love it.  I can haul my PA14 in the main spot and put another yak up top when friends go with me.  I'm planning on buying a second PA14 so that I can take my boys with me and then I'll reconfigure the top rack with bunks for the second boat.  I may lower the top rack down a little as well to make it easier to load and unload.

I found the trailer on Craigslist and piced it up as is for $600.  Everything had been redone with all new leaf springs, new axle, new jack stand, new winch, new wheels, and tires.  The frame is a 1986 Carravan but you'd never know it by looking at it!

I saved the photo to use if I find a small trailer like yours. You got a super deal especially having all the important components rebuilt or replaced. I just like the layout especially the top carrier. Dang you could go camping without any worries of not having enough room.
