My favorite sushi restaurants.  Shhhh, don't tell anyone!  It's a secret...

Sacramento:  Kamon Sushi Restaurant

San Jose:  Kampai Sushi.  Happy Hour - $10 pitchers of Sapporo and the "Jason Roll" is the best!

The problem I always have is everyone has a very different definition of what a "good" sushi restaurant is...still looking for a go to place in the east bay.

Hannah Sushi in Vacaville. One of the best I have ever eaten. If you go sit at the bar and pour some of your beer into the chefs (joe) bowl. (He drinks beer from a bowl).

One of my favorites, although not in SJ or Sac is Mikasa in Lathrop off I-5. I am no sushi expert, but this place has some good stuff. The things the draw me back are the selection, portions, prices. The staff is great also.

Just remember to make reservations if in a group. The place stays packed!!!
