I was all of 6 years old when JFK was assassinated. I remember this day very well, seeing the concern on my parents face. Very sad day.

I was a freshman in high school and was up in the office when the secretary told me the president had been shot.  I was floored and scared.  The other time I was scared in my short life is when JFK blocked Soviet ships from going to Cuba.  Anyway, I went back to class and told them the news.  I got out my knife and engraved my wooden desk, Nov. 22, 1963.  I wish I had that desk now.  Strawberry Alarm Clock,  --They played at Bakersfield Junior college's new years eve party.  They played incense and peppermint live twice.  Groovy.   :smt005
