Awesome! Jackson has struggled to break into a Ocean Kayak Hobie and Wilderness dominated market out west so I'm glad to see a quality shop get on board.

Struggled?  Really?  From the acceptance I've seen here, I think they've done pretty well ... remember, they are only a year or 2 into the cudas (or has it been longer?)  Rome was not built overnight.

That's true, but I think the boats sold well on their own merit and not due to a huge dealer network. I think KC will be a nice addition to what Jackson has going on here in Nor Cal.

Odd you would think they would be stocking 2014 models not 2013.

Of course ...  it appears (and I really don't know the numbers) that they've spent a lot on marketing.  Bringing Jim Sammons over couldn't have been cheap, in addition to already having Drew et al.  Not to mention they brought a ton of pro staff on in a short amount of time.

Increased dealer network seems like a natural, required next step.

That's the first thing that came to my mind when I saw the pics too!

BTW, just so no one thinks I'm digging at Jackson ... I am amazed and impressed by what they've done here and nationally in a relatively short amount of time.

It's great to see more Jackson dealers. I'm sure I speak for all Jackson Team members here when I say if you need anything from us we're here to help.

Eric any time your welcome to try my boat. If I can find a free weekend I would love to load up a few kayaks and come over to the coast for some crabbing.
