Found a listing for a Sea Eagle Fastrack--an inflatable for 1-2 paddlers. Don't know what they are asking for it or what year it is yet. Just curious about your opinions:

The specs say it weighs only 31lbs at 12.5ft long with a 635lb capacity---that's pretty impressive!

I've been anxious to get my hands on one to demo.  It uses a drop stitched floor, a formed keel, and a removable skeg.  These address some of the shortcomings of older inflatables in terms of rigidity and tracking.

I had a small sea eagle inflatable (transom boat) a few years ago. I was impressed with the quality for the price (vs achilles or zodiac).  As for puncturing the fabric, possible but not probable (IMO).

The ad makes it look foolproof with the guarantee.

Sea Eagle has been around awhile, one thing to be careful of is how you buy it, I got my boat from Adventure Sports in Sac and am one of the people who have a pretty low opinion of them but it was a long time ago.

Waiting for your review.
