I've been yakin for about 3 years now.  I love fishing in the ocean on my kayak.  Been to Ft. Bragg, Albion, Moat Creek, Sea Ranch, Salt Point, Ft Ross, Jenner, Bodega Bay, the list goes on and on...  Been to many places with no name all along the coast.  Caught a bunch of rock fish and lings primarily and plenty of abalone , just can't seem to catch anything else.

Moat Creek is by far the best: tons of huge thick abalones and of course rock fish you can limit out in about 15 Minutes of fishing with squid or shrimp with a 4oz sinker...

I had a wilderness system kayak the whole time (love it), just bought a new hobie revolution 11 so I can try trolling for salmon, halibut or even albacore tuna.  I don't have a clue as to how I'm gonna accomplish it.  Hopefully someone can teach me and guide me along side...
