Hmm.... I didn't realize a Hawg trough doesn't float.  Time to glue some cork to the bottom of mine.

If my video saves but on hawg trough from the depths, the effort was worth it.

Dang Aaron, that's rough! But it was a very entertaining video!
Stuff a couple strips of pool noodle in the recesses underneath your next hog trough. Then it'll float and you won't even need to tether it. Although this just reminded me that I don't have a hog trough anymore...a fish broke it into 3 pieces while trying to measure it d'oh!

Yes, I did loose the NCKA hawg trough that JJQ gave to me.     It floated before I added the 48" aluminum rule to it.  You have to be ready for those big ones, ya know?  I did not loose the lip grippers, and I knew going out that if it went over board that 48" rule was going to drag it down.  My regret is not listening to my intuition.  I should have glued the foam to it before I left the house.

Time to get to work on that redwood floating fish ruler I have been thinking of.
