I'm kidding, I was testing the current and paddling upstream to see how difficult it was and a patrolling Sheriff came by to compliment my boat and asked how the fishing was going. After about 20 minutes of chatting and telling him I was new to the sport explaining what NCKA was I ended up drifting back about 400 yards (current is pretty strong in feather river) he offered to give me a lift :) I wish I had a GoPro setup for some action videos people on shore were dumbfounded!

I took a 20 mph ride behind my ski boat last year. Kinda scary and cool at the same time.

I know exactly what you mean - tow rope was a little long and with the current i started taking on water, as he went faster he noticed me getting further back in my boat to avoid doing a nose dive and getting ejected out lol.

My front scuppers in my Tarpon acted like siphons and the water became a fountain from them. I have pics somewhere I will dig out.

That's pretty cool man!  I think there is a video of Matanaska getting towed through the Humboldt jaws that was pretty sketchy.

Sweet!
I am more comfortable running the tow rope through the front handle and holding onto it. That way, it keeps my bow straight but I can let go if sh!t goes sideways.

I held on to the tow rope at first, but kept going sideways no matter how I tried to maneuver the yak. I would have used the handle but didn't want that to get ripped of and be SOL until I got it home :)

You steer by moving the handle out to the left or right depending on which way you ant to go. I've got it down pretty good. I can surf the inside of the wake at 20 mph on a 16' boat.

A buddy with a small aluminum boat with a 10 hp towed me once, I tried to jump his wake and wiped out.  Laughed our butts off.  Being towed was easy I used the rudder to keep myself straight.
